The role:

  • Create and implement global PR strategies for the commercial business cascading down to regional and country level
  • Close alignment with the Global Head of Capital Markets and Global Head of Occupier Strategy and Solutions to understand business objectives across all levels of the business
  • Understand the wider political and economic landscape affecting the property market and how this influences the media agenda
  • Attend internal and external meetings to advise senior leadership and clients on PR opportunities and strategy
  • Compile and implement a global annual news calendar to ensure horizon scanning
  • Act as a key point of contact for the press and build relationships with the media, including attending journalist meetings when possible
  • Manage all coming commercial media requests and be proactive in generating media coverage for Knight Frank and key stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with appropriate journalists from key target publications and industry associations
  • Work closely with the commercial research team from idea conception and assist in the distribution of regular research reports to the press
  • Write press releases and circulate them with relevant trade, wire, regional press and the wider Knight Frank PR network
  • Act as a key point of contact for the global PR network
  • Support high profile Knight Frank publication launches, including the London Report, the Wealth Report, (Y)OUR SPACE and Active Capital


/      Skills required:   

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in property PR advantageous
  • Journalism background preferred
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to story mine
  • Candidate should be able to multitask and be flexible with workload accordingly
  • Able to contribute to a strong and friendly team culture
  • Capability to proofread
  • Be competent in all written communications
  • Confident in approaching journalists on a daily basis to sell in ideas and discuss opportunities
  • Able to build positive relationships with senior internal stakeholders
  • High personal standards in terms of quality of work/ deadlines, expectations, reliability and work ethic
