Senior Manager/Associate Director – Industrial Services
We are looking for a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join our Industrial Service team in Shanghai to work with department heads, regional business development staff and the internal desks at Knight Frank to plan, implement and strategically manage the promotion of our industrial services to KF clients in APAC.
As part of our Industrial Service team, you are expected to continually improve the quality and range of service within the department’s scope of the business. You should meet goals and objectives of Industrial Service team, with the ultimate purpose of contributing to the expansion and profitability of the Knight Frank business in Shanghai and the region. You should actively conduct business development activities to support the team achieve the target revenue.
Your application should showcase your enthusiasm for the sectors we cover and demonstrate your ability in the following main areas, which we require daily at Knight Frank.
You are to actively identify new prospects for the business development.as well as dealing with the client inquiries and taking proactive measures to follow up on their requirements. You will contact clients regularly and advise them the work progress. You are also responsible for setting up meetings and presentations with both new and existing clients to ensure smooth communication. Another important aspect of your role is to prepare a shortlist of suitable properties for clients as well as arranging and conducting property inspections with clients.
In your role, it will involve traveling to different locations for business/project meetings if necessary. Additionally, you will need to review work progress on a weekly basis and actively participate in team meetings to discuss existing and prospective projects.
You are expected to build a strong industrial business database, including tenants, developers, funds, and government contacts is a part of your role. Maintaining an organized and up-to-date central filing system for all work in the Shanghai office is another crucial responsibility for you.
You also need to ensure that all documents produced are in accordance with documented policies and are consistent with the message that the company is trying to convey about mission and vision, for we hope our clients could receive a consistent and professional image of the company.
Qualifications
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with extensive experience in warehouse logistics operations, materials management and supply chain operations and/or industrial real estate transactions. You should have a keen interest in Industrial Services, and you want to develop further your understanding of this industry.
You have at least 5-7 years working experience and hold a bachelor's degree or above. Relevant experience of logistics would be an advantage. You are Proficient in both Chinese and English as language is essential for effective communication.
You are responsible, proactive, and self-motivated team player, and embrace fast-paced environments with frequent change. Additionally, you also have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
