Job Description
Knight Frank has a dedicated commercial team which sits within the Valuation & Advisory team, dealing with valuations of commercial property (office, retail, logistics and residential buildings) throughout France on behalf of international and French clients.
We are currently looking for an Associate Commercial Valuer whose responsibilities will include:
- Establishing client requirements
- Management and co-ordination of valuation instructions
- Analysis and summary of technical, legal, and financial documents
- Basic planning and statutory enquiries
- Carrying out property inspections across France
- Valuation
- Writing valuation reports (in English and in French)
- Compilation of market information (in English and in French)
- Exchanges with clients following submission of valuations
- Client relationship management
- Checking figures and reports of other members of the team
- Business development
Desired Profile
- University degree (BAC + 4/5) in a property-related subject, or in French language studies (with a strong desire to pursue a career in property)
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- English mother-tongue / good command of French
- At least 6 years’ experience in property valuation
- Independent, detail-oriented, organised
- Proactive, driven, flexible
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Clean driving licence
IT Skills Required
- Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Argus Enterprise and Argus ValCap
- Database management
