ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary focus of this role is to partner with and act as, the liaison between L&D and the European business to achieve the goals of the regional 5 years business and the people plan. This should be done by conducting a thorough learning and development needs analysis across the European business in cooperation with the European HRBP and the Corporate Head of L&D reviewing our current offering, and guiding the business on what is available, supporting the creation of learning and development initiatives when it is not.
Activities will cover planning, developing, and delivering learning interventions through a variety of means/methods in partnership with the head office and the local Head of People and their teams and the business subject matter experts.
As the property market adapts and people’s needs change, so must our learning offer and with that the way learning happens. The understanding and utilisation of a variety of learning methodologies will be required to ensure that any training created remains relevant and up to date for both the current and future learning needs.
Indeed, Artificial Intelligence will have anticipated a significant impact of AI in the real estate industry in the next 2/3 years, we should prepare our teams to leverage on it and anticipate what may come in a tailored way for the Knight Frank European network of offices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Talent Mapping activity across the European Region
- Develop high quality training materials in alignment with requirements identified through the Yearly Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Identify training curriculum and learning objectives as required for the career framework levels and work with the key stakeholders and external subject matter experts.
- Support the implementation of the European Retention Program (ex. career plans, succession plans, propose new initiatives etc.)
- Plan and prepare for learning sessions across the region
- Facilitate regular evaluation and feedback sessions to ensure all programmes meet the needs of the business
- Provide updates and details on new courses and latest trends to the European People Teams.
- Lead of the creation of new courses in line with the overall European Business and the L&D Strategy, also considering the significant impact of AI in the real estate industry.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing in line with our culture of learning
- Creating, developing regional initiatives to support the development and retention of our employees in line with the regional People Strategy and the business goals
- Support the delivery of European Academy and the APC Academy
- Provide specific support / be a trusted advisor for the European offices
- Support the implementation of coaching or mentoring programs both at local or regional level

Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of:
- Understanding of DISC and Psychometrics
- Experience of using a Blended Learning approach (Digital learning, webinar, Classroom)
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Passion, enthusiasm, flexibility, proactivity, international approach and entrepreneurial spirit are essential characteristics to succeed in this position.
- Extensive experience in developing training courses and materials
- Strong experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Hands on facilitation/delivery of training sessions
- Experience of working in an international environment ideally both corporate and SME environment
- Extensive knowledge of training development tools and techniques
- Proactive, a self-starter, responsive and collaborative
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation skills and effective time management
- Computer literate - experience in working with Microsoft office applications PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Demonstrates the Knight Frank values
- Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish skills
- A willingness to travel to our offices across Europe as and when required.
