Knight Frank is looking to hire a Solutions Architect to work within our Chief Technology Office.

Role:

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems across various projects. This role involves overseeing the integration of various data sources, ensuring efficient data storage and analysis, and maintaining the security and integrity of all data.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Design: Lead the architecture and design of platforms capable of handling large datasets, including geospatial, financial, and other metadata.
  • Data Integration: Implement data stores that link various data types with intelligence data.
  • API Integration: Integrate external APIs, event grids, and other data sources to bring real-time data and updates into the system.
  • Data Storage: Design and implement data storage strategies using specialised databases for efficient storage, retrieval, and querying of data.
  • Security: Ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of all data across the system.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation to support the system's design, implementation, and integration processes (e.g. C4 modelling, document as code with Mermaid/PlantUML).

 

Key Experience Required:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, ideally in data management systems.
  • API and Event-Driven Architecture: Expertise in integrating REST APIs, event grids, and messaging systems for data ingestion and processing.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms (e.g., Azure) with a focus on cloud-native design patterns.
  • Data Integration: Strong understanding of integrating SaaS products and custom-built solutions, as well as working with third-party partners.
