There is an opportunity for a Senior Rating Surveyor to join the dynamic Business Rates Team in London. Responsibilities:

 

  • To be proactive, enthusiastic and driven in providing the best rating advice to our clients.
  • To be a team player working to ensure the Business Rates department meets their stated annual goals & objectives
  • To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with our high Professional Standards.
  • To ensure your rating knowledge is kept up to date with a commitment to attend training courses and conferences on a regular basis.
  • To obtain instructions in sufficient quantity to satisfy your personal annual target.
  • To maintain a high professional profile and be continually alert to business opportunities

 

The ideal candidate will be recently qualified or be in their final year for MRICS/IRRV, will have 2 or more years’ experience in rating and will also have a drivers licence.

It is important the candidate has the experience and ability to make and maintains contacts, have the capability to promote the professional image of Knight Frank and they will be able to formulate business strategies with the Department Head and implement them. The ability to understand office technology and procedures as well as the ability to motivate, direct and delegate to subordinates are also key skills in this role. Finally, they must be wholly competent in the skills required of a surveyor.
