The Role

 

Our highly successful and renowned China Desk are looking to recruit a Senior Negotiator/Sales Manager.  You will be responsible for working with Chinese buyers to manage their property search in the London market and to assist them throughout the Sales process.  You will have the ability to build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.  We are looking for a confident and persuasive individual who has prior experience working as a Sales Negotiator. You must be highly driven and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships with buyers and clients, whilst also having a proven track record in closing sales.

 

Responsibilities

 

Business Generation & Fee Income

  • To act as a conduit between China, South East Asia and London China teams looking after buyers on the ground and arranging tours and viewings.
  • The role is to actively network to find buyers and negotiate the sale of properties for New Homes projects and resell in London.
  • Set up and actively manage a network of channel partners through which to promote our developments. Including setting up close relationships with intermediates based in London.
  • To understand the London market and have a knowledge of property values, trends and regeneration areas
  • The candidate will be required to travel across China on a regular basis.

 

Client Care

  • Communicate fully with all concerned to ensure that sales are managed in an efficient and professional manner
  • Maintain a high profile in the community in order to obtain introductions to prospective clients

 

Professional Standards

  • Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership
  • Be responsible for all outstanding monies in relation to properties sold

 

Team

  • Perform other tasks delegated by the Partner in charge as required
  • Liaise with members of other departments and get to know the individuals and their markets both for the purpose of obtaining information in support of valuations and also to keep an eye on cross selling of business
  • Liaise with other departments when required

 

Particular Experience/Aptitudes/Skills Required

 

  • To have at least 2 years’ experience working in property and an established network of Chinese buyers and contacts
  • To have an understanding and experience of working in London and Greater China.
  • The experience, ability and enthusiasm to make and maintain contacts for the profitable development of business locally
  • Dedicated sales professional with experience of a sales agency environment
  • The ability to contribute to the formulation of business strategies with the Partner in charge for the development of the district/sector and implement them positively
  • The ability and willingness to accept responsibility for any delegated tasks
  • The ability to comprehend and make use of computers and information technology
  • A willingness and flexibility to work loyally as part of a team

 

Language Skills Required

 

  • Native mandarin AND cantonese speaking is a must for this role
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
