Senior Marketing Manager – Brand to Demand
Reporting to: Head of Residential Marketing
Introduction:
Based in our Global HQ at Baker Street, the Marketing and Communications & Digital (MCD) team provides support and assistance for both UK and International Knight Frank offices, in formulating and implementing the relevant strategies and marketing campaigns. Our role is to maximise omni-channel brand impressions that protects and enhances our firm’s reputation while generating high quality commercial and residential enquiries, globally.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Residential Marketing, the Brand to Demand Senior Manager will work across the Residential business to elevate our reputation as a premium property firm across the UK and in our chosen International markets. This role will help the business grow market share through driving leads and continuing to increase brand awareness across the breadth of our business.
Working collaboratively with the business as an advisor, you’ll develop Marcoms strategies that will help achieve these goals through a seamlessly delivered set of activities. It is crucial that you are able to inspire and motivate the stakeholders you work with. You will be adept at working in a high energy, highly rewarding, matrix stakeholder environment.
This role is crucial to our business plan and strategy – to increase awareness of the full range of our services across the residential business and continue to drive business growth targets. Within the Marcoms Leadership team, this role carries with it a remit to innovate and drive marketing with measurable results, ensuring we are a core component to the business’s success.
Responsibilities
• Partnering with senior leaders and with the Residential Marketing business partners to deliver a UK and International marketing strategy to maximise awareness and engagement, and develop brand campaigns focused on future revenue growth across the buyer journey
• Translating business strategies into marketing strategies and leading the development of data-driven integrated omni-channel marketing campaigns with our B2C and B2B audiences
• Help shape marketing activities by bringing customer insight to the conversation. Define and articulate customer-led positioning, tangible benefits and competitive advantages of Knight Frank’s services
• Understand marketing trends and channels that increase demand generation and brand equity
• Managing the media buying relationship on a day-to-day basis and working closely with the Residential business partners and the channel teams on strategies and tactics across a wide variety of media
• Balancing different perspectives and priorities across the business to drive alignment and champion an overarching residential plan that benefits all the residential service lines to drive relevance, distinctiveness and growth
• Leverage data to evaluate the impact of marketing activities (at the strategy and campaign level) to influence the focus and direction of future marketing campaign strategies
• Provide support to the Head of Residential on the budgeting planning process and lead regular reporting cycles to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the marketing plans
• Lead on defined cross-residential strategic priorities, such as the Customer Portal
• Navigate complex situations and where necessary conduct difficult conversations with senior leaders to jointly come to the right outcomes
• Work collaboratively across the wider marketing communications team in the UK, and globally, engaging with channel experts in PR, internal comms, content, digital, creative services and marketing operations. Spotting opportunities to collaborate and align initiatives around market themes and client needs
Professional experience and personal skills profile
The successful candidate for this role will have a wide range of abilities. These include:
• Marketing qualification and/or seven+ years marketing experience preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management, listening and influencing skills
• Experience of using the entire marketing mix to deliver impactful campaign and results
• Exceptional team player, this role requires a highly collaborative approach
• Demonstrable experience in managing creative and media agencies
• Data-led focus; ability to analyse and interpret data to capitalise on the insights
• Confident and articulate; ability to listen, communicate with and present to people at all levels of the organisation
• Experience in all areas of digital content publishing, planning and editing and excellent copy writing and proof reading skills
• Experience of client nurturing and persona development desirable
• Budget setting and management experience
