The role


We are seeking a Senior Internal Communications Executive to support on the development and delivery of our communications strategy and activities to our Residential teams in the UK.


The Senior Internal Communications Executive will work under the guidance of the Residential Internal Communications Business Partner to inform and engage teams, as well as gathering feedback and sentiment so we can advise key stakeholders and leadership. For this proactive, hands-on role, you will need proven experience in internal communications, working with a diverse range of key stakeholders. The role offers a balance of ownership and autonomy with the opportunity to get involved in broader initiatives and campaigns.




  • To work with the Business Partner on the implementation of internal communications and engagement activities, including shaping, planning, production and execution.
  • Proactive generation of news and content for our channels (write, build, send etc.) and maintain regular contact with key sources throughout the division. Find interesting angles; advise on communication such as articles, emails, presentations, video, microsites, podcasts etc.
  • Support the Business Partner in launching and embedding our Three Year plan in line with our global purpose and values.
  • Play a pivotal role in embedding internal communications best practice, and support the wider Internal Comms team to improve current, and develop new channels, finding innovative ways to engage our people and build stronger feedback loops
  • Project management – take briefs, write creative briefs and copy, work with internal creative team and external agencies where applicable and manage project plans
  • Reporting - Monitor and track activity through monthly and campaign-based reports, and undertake staff calls, panels and surveys to gather qualitative feedback
  • Teamwork – work closely with Internal Communications Business Partner and wider Internal Communications team to implement communications initiatives and build good relationships across the firm to ensure a joined-up approach
  • Stakeholder management - build strong relationships across the business
  • Promote the internal communications function within the business, help staff to become better communicators and make better use of existing communication channels
