Knight Frank’s Private Office is a fully integrated residential and commercial real estate advisory team dealing with UHNW individuals. The overarching strategy is to build long term relationships with clients by offering world class real estate advice and service.
Working with the Private Office and based at Knight Frank’s headquarters in Baker Street, this exciting role will focus on UHNW private client management and intelligence both here in the UK and globally.

Responsibilities
UHNW Client Management
• Responsibility for broadening the Private Office UHNW Client Relationship Management (CRM) programme across the wider Residential Business - supporting key partners across the London, Country and International Residential departments (and other relevant service lines) with ongoing relationship management of UHNW clients and single-family offices.
• Conducting client research and profiling to ensure our records are correct, focusing on understanding:
- Clients’ global property portfolio including their residences, investments, and geographical split of assets by type.
- Transactional history and other working relationships within Knight Frank.
- Businesses and general interests.
• Agreeing structured twelve-month client management plans and fee targets with the Partner holding the relationship.
• Identify buying opportunities for specific clients with a view to growing and diversifying fee generation per client across residential and commercial service lines.
• Personal engagement with dormant UHNW clients with an aim to re-active relationships and generate business.
Private Wealth Intelligence
• Support the Head of Department with Private Wealth Intelligence strategies.
• Tracking and profiling buyers and underbidders of UK and global trophy sales.
• Tracking active buyers active in the market with competitors and working to identify KF relationships.
• Engage with Residential and Global Capital Markets around the international network to expand the Global UHNW Directory (a central library of £100m+ relationships)
• Buyer profiling and private placement of trophy sales.
• Support commercial pitches to demonstrate our access to private capital.
• Support the Head of Department with project management of data strategies.
Family Office Engagement
• Assist the Head of Department in driving forward our Family Office Strategy by co-ordinating the ongoing CRM for our top 50 single-family offices relationships held by the residential division.
• Profiling these single-family offices by overall holdings, spending power, portfolio structure and fee income generated.
• Incorporating existing asset ownership (both commercial and residential) deals, holdings and family offices details into our records.
Reporting and Communications
• Responsibility for updating a Business Generation WIP and tracker.
• Strong presentation skills
Team
• Perform other tasks as set by the Head of Private Wealth Intelligence or Head of The Private Office.
• Work with the wider client relationship and business development teams
Systems & IT competence
• Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
• Ensure that Knight Frank’s CRM system is accurate/constantly updated
• Use forums for sharing client relationship information such as Introhive
Professional experience and personal skills profile
Qualifications/Education Required
• A graduate with 3 years’+ experience in a similar professional services role (with a focus on Real estate, private banking or wealth management).
Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required
• Pro-active, hands-on. Strong sense of self-motivation.
• Confident and articulate with excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office software - particularly Excel
• Strong writing skills with an active interest and understanding of the business
• Flexible, adaptable and a co-operative attitude; able to work as part of a team
• Action oriented
