Working within the 18 strong Commercial Research function, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of market research and thought leadership primarily covering the UK and European real estate investment markets. It will be possible to have greater focus on one of these markets depending on background and interests. You will be responsible for advancing the quality and insights contained within our public facing research together with ensuring that our clients and prospective clients are directly exposed to our market knowledge. You will be skilled at sourcing, managing and interpreting data, as well as creating narratives that go beyond the data to highlight implications for real estate investors and other market participants. You will be a core contributor to Knight Frank’s UK capital markets and / or European outlook reports. The role is adaptable for the right person, but centred around commercial real estate investment markets.


Responsibilities include:


  • Providing top down insight and commentary for internal and external capital markets stakeholders
  • Development, monitoring and analysis of leading indicator dashboards
  • Production and analysis of IPD updates on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Creating flash note responses to market, economic, geopolitical and other announcements relevant to UK and / or European real estate investment markets
  • Preparing capital markets content for the capital markets and research teams
  • Responding to time-sensitive internal and external bespoke data and analysis requests
  • Direct client engagement, presenting capital markets analysis and commentary internally and externally
  • Running the content for the capital markets portal of the Knight Frank Intelligence Lab
  • Formation of thematic research and analysis and able to synthesise this into different media including presentations, reports and blog notes
  • Familiarity with packages such as Macrobond, Power BI, Flourish, Alteryx, GIS or languages such as R or Python useful, but not essential
