An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us here at Knight Frank, and we are currently seeking a UK Capital Markets Research Analyst or Senior Research Analyst to be responsible for advancing the quality and insights contained within our public facing research team together with ensuring that our clients are directly exposed to our market knowledge.


In the role, you will be responsible for:


  • Providing top down insight and commentary for internal and external capital markets stakeholders
  • Developing, monitoring, and analysing leading indicator dashboards
  • Producing and analysing MSCI updates on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Creating flash note responses to market, economic, geopolitical, and other announcements relevant to UK and / or European real estate investment markets
  • Creating and maintaining an automated slide deck that can be updated and shared both internally and externally each quarter
  • Preparing content for the capital markets and research teams
  • Formation of thematic research and analysis and to synthesise this into different media including presentations, reports, and blog notes
  • Engaging with stakeholders and presenting capital markets analysis and commentary internally
  • Responding to time-sensitive internal and external bespoke data and analysis requests
  • Working collaboratively across the research team to ensure a cohesive capital markets presence within reports and client work


To be successful in the role, you will have the following skills and experience:


  • Degree qualified with an aptitude for quantitative techniques and strong attention to detail
  • An interest in news, current affairs and how this effects the commercial real estate investment market
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiarity with packages such as Macrobond, Power BI, Flourish, Alteryx
  • Python or R would be useful, but not essential
  • Experience analysing MSCI data is preferred
  • A team player who is enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated, with a passion for excellence and strong commerciality
  • Skilled at drawing key themes from data to construct an argument in a clear and logical way
  • Able to present and communicate information in an engaging manner to audiences
  • Good time management, adaptability and the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
