Knight Frank is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Research Analyst who is passionate about ESG to join its market-leading Global Research team at a crucial moment for the real estate sector.


Based in our Baker Street office, you will play a key role helping Knight Frank to respond to the rapidly developing needs of our clients at this exciting point in time and help drive forward the firm’s ambitious ESG agenda. This role is focussed specifically on the delivery of research outputs for the wider ESG strategy which will cover our Residential, Residential Investment and Rural Consultancy service lines.



In the ESG Research Analyst (Residential) role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and collating available data to support our Residential ESG strategy
  • Undertaking high quality analysis of key external and proprietary databases to support the ESG Research strategy
  • Working with technical colleagues in the wider Research team, specifically those in Analytics, to interrogate and analyse data
  • Preparing regular outputs for internal stakeholders, including data books and dashboards
  • Responding to ad hoc data requests from the ESG Research Lead, as dictated by the wider team and business


To be successful in the ESG Research Analyst (Residential) role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • University degree or relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrable capability to ensure accuracy in manipulating, analysing, and presenting data whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail
  • Personal skills suited to working in a professional team environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on projects
  • An interest in real estate markets is an advantage
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular with Excel
  • Experience of real estate data systems such as Co-Star, Radius, RCA, Property Data or similar
  • Experience with interactive data visualization software such as Power Bi, Flourish, or similar is a bonus
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro or equivalent geospatial software is a bonus
  • SQL Server is desireable
