 As a Release Train Engineer with the hub team, you will support Knight Frank to deliver the best software application available to support the requirements of its growing global business, now and in the future.  Hub delivers a bespoke CRM and property database application to satisfy complex requirements, with a multi-lingual web application and mobile app, used throughout the Knight Frank global business. 


hub is a leading-edge and bespoke client relationship and property transaction management system and is currently developed using a multi Scrum team / Scrum of Scrum model.  Components are currently combined into a single release across the Scrums every two weeks. 


This Way of Working will be migrating as part of a Transformational Programme to a new Operating Model using a SAFe based methodology.


Your responsibilities initially will be;


  • Support the current multi scrum team BAU Business with similar responsibilities as the RTE role, being cognisant of the cultural and behavioural changes that are needed to move to a SAFe model
  • Learn from and support the 3rd Party consultancy company that will support the delivery of the new Operating Model
  • Bring your experience to the current model, helping coach team members and drive continuous improvements alongside the pilot transformation.


During the pilot, the Transformation Programme and beyond the RTE responsibilities are;


The RTE is a servant leader, coach for the Agile Release Train (ART) and championing the Framework wider in KF. The main responsibilities are to facilitate the key ART events, processes and assist the teams in delivering value.  RTEs communicate with key ART stakeholders as well as KF Product Management, technology systems engineering and architecture, support the escalation and resolution of impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. 


We are looking for someone who has 15+ years’ experience working in a project environment and has good experience of Agile delivery.  You will have excellent knowledge of Agile and Scrum in a multi-team environment and will have experience of working with the in-house and outsource software development providers, as part of Scrum teams.  We are looking for someone with extensive experience in a digital product development environment who is capable of working with the business on this really exciting role.
