We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage and Protection Insurance Advisor to provide comprehensive, client-focused advisory services. The successful candidate will deliver personalised advice and recommendations, ensuring that clients are at the heart of our business. As this role operates within a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)-regulated environment, the advisor will be responsible for the accuracy and suitability of their advice and product recommendations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Client Engagement:
    • Proactively reach out to potential clients referred by the Knight Frank Finance mortgage team.
    • Clearly explain our services and regulatory status from the initial contact, ensuring clients understand our offerings and processes.
  2. Client Consultation:
    • Conduct a thorough Fact-Find on the CRM system to assess the client's financial situation, future needs, and preferences. This will demonstrate a deep understanding of the client (KYC) and ensure they receive tailored advice and recommendations.
    • Provide clients with all necessary documentation as outlined in the sales process.
  3. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Gather and verify all required documents to support your advice and recommendations before submitting applications to providers.
    • Ensure all clients are verified and certified before submitting their information to protection providers.
    • Follow Knight Frank Finance's protection policies and procedures from initial contact to policy placement.
  4. Performance and Reporting:
    • Meet and exceed the objectives and targets set in your annual business plan, as agreed with your line manager.
    • Attend weekly sales meetings, as well as monthly and quarterly results meetings, to present your performance across all targeted areas.
    • Support additional income streams and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  5. CRM and Case Management:
    • Submit fully completed cases on the CRM system within three working days, including all supporting email correspondence, documents, and a consultant checklist.
    • Ensure all client communication is documented in the CRM system to maintain a complete audit trail.
  6. Revenue and Sales Targets:
    • Consistently hit monthly and annual revenue targets to contribute to the company's success.
  7. Company Values and Brand Promotion:
    • Embrace and effectively promote the company values and brand in all client interactions.

 

Accountability:

 

  1. Advice and Recommendations:
    • Provide accurate, thorough advice and recommendations to clients, documenting these in detailed Demands & Needs letters sent before submitting applications.
  2. Compliance:
    • Adhere strictly to the AML policy, reporting any potential risks to the Compliance Officer.
    • Follow the Data Protection policy, including maintaining a clear desk policy.
    • Report any regulatory breaches to the compliance department immediately.
    • Complete any required remedial actions within seven days.
  3. Record Keeping:
    • Maintain all necessary documentation to support your advice and recommendations, ensuring that all notes and documents are added to the company’s CRM system.
  4. Industry Competence:
    • Stay updated on industry knowledge and products to remain competent and compliant in your role.
