A great opportunity has arisen to join us here at Knight Frank, and we are currently seeking an Internal Communications Assistant to join our Marketing and Communications department.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Internal Communications Team with particular focus on newsletters and intranet content. You will work closely with members of the Internal Communications Team and report into the Internal Communications Manager. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for creating engaging content. 

 

In the Internal Communications Assistant role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting on the collation of content, building, and sending of UK and firm-wide newsletters and managing their schedules
  • Managing newsletter distribution lists and uploading them to our email marketing platform
  • Research and writing intranet articles for local and regional news
  • Supporting in writing engaging content as part of wider communication plans
  • Publishing content to the intranet and maintaining intranet microsites
  • Posting to Yammer as part of current campaigns and pro-actively gathering content from the platform to use across our channels
  • Managing the internal communications inbox
  • Updating the team’s content calendar and activity tracker
  • Assisting on a range of internal communications projects, to include liaising with clients, designers and artworkers
  • Ensuring that the values of the Knight Frank brand are maintained throughout
  • Supporting members of the Internal Communications team on an ad hoc basis
  • Following brand guidelines to ensure excellent quality of all communications materials

 

To be successful in the Communications Assistant role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A Communications / Marketing / Administrative background or graduate with creative flair
  • Excellent attention to detail and copywriting / proofing ability
  • Experience with email marketing software and SharePoint is beneficial
  • Comfortable learning how to use intranet platforms
  • An organized, flexible, and pro-active approach to work
  • Passion for creating engaging and impactful communications for colleagues
  • Self-motivated nature with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task competing projects and to priorities workload
  • A willingness to learn and develop
