We are looking for a HSE Advisor to join our Health and Safety Team. The HSE function is part of our Strategy, Risk and Operations Department operating within our Head Office on Baker Street.


We have a well-established safety management system and within this role you will be working alongside the HSE Manager to implement and maintain the requirements of this system. This role will be varied and a great opportunity to develop your skills as a health and safety practitioner.


As a HSE Advisor you will be assisting the HSE manger to promote health, safety and environmental compliance, you will be responsible for:


  • Providing training and support to regional offices to implement requirements for our health and safety systems, including though maintenance of online information and databases
  • Overseeing the operation of our BSI, Internal and third party standards and audit programme, including the management of the online compliance platform and reporting of audits along with resolution of audit findings.
  • Assisting with accident investigation as well as reviewing and preparing statistical analyses of accident data and compliance information as directed
  • Supporting the HSE manager in planning meetings, agendas, and minutes as well as taking an active part of driving forward our environmental initiatives as part of the ESG and Building Foundations and Planet working groups.
  • Performing other general administrative and support tasks as directed to support the operation of the HSE team.


You will hold a NEBOSH General certificate, or equivalent and be degree educated. Additionally, you will have at least two years of experience working in a health and safety or environment role.


You will have strong communication skills with a strong attention to detail. You will have experience in audit and risk management. Overall, you will be a proactive person who is looking to develop within a varied role.
