We are delighted to be seeking a HR Business Partner to advice and support the growth of our European Offices.   You must be CIPD qualified with 5+ years’ experience of working in a multi-country HR Generalist role.  It is important that you have a strong background in HR policy and practice, along with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders in the business to achieve desired outcomes. Language skills would also be advantageous for this role.


Some of your main responsibilities will include:


  • Strategy - You will sit on the European People Board with the Global Head of HR and the wider HR senior leadership team to create and drive the European People Strategy and help embed the Business Balance strategy in the European business.


  • Recruitment  - Liaising with the HR teams across Europe to ensure alignment with the on-going recruitment needs of the European business.  You will also lead the engagement and appointment of external recruitment consultants whilst also using direct recruitment techniques to minimise recruitment costs throughout. 


  • Onboarding - You will also be responsible for ensuring there is a streamline and robust onboarding process for all new starters throughout the Region and in line with the firm’s Global On-Boarding minimum framework.


  • Performance & Talent Management - Conducting an annual and mid-year talent performance review with each Country Head and HR representative as appropriate. To support with the Group Head of HR and Head of Group Learning the implementation of relevant learning and development to support talent management and succession planning in the European business.


  • Remuneration and Benefits  - Play a leading role in ensuring local HR is managing the annual salary/bonus and promotions process appropriately for the respective business.   Offering advice to each Country to ensure they are working to the relevant timetable and receiving the necessary support.  You will also liaise with the UK Benefits and Wellbeing Adviser to ensure that the benefits provided by Knight Frank in each Country align with the needs of the business.


  • Employee Relations  - To support local HR in advising the business on dealing with all employee relation matters in the European business, completing Settlement Agreements and managing all aspects of HR relating to any business


  • Early Careers - To support the UK Early Careers Manager in collaborating with all European offices to enhance the Early Careers programmes in each country, including the recruitment and rotation of graduates/ interns and apprentices.


  • Global Mobility & Local Ex-Pats and Secondees - You will take full ownership of Managing the global mobility (Broadening Horizons) programme for the European business, coordinating the ex-pat and secondee processes, and assisting with the production of contracts and T&Cs as well as secondee agreements.
