Our Strategy, Risk and Operations team are looking to recruit a Front of House Assistant to provide an excellent visitor experience at our Global Head Quarters, 55 Baker Street.  This is a fantastic opportunity to greet and deal with external and internal visitors and ensure a smooth and seamless process.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Carrying out checks throughout the day of the reception area and meeting rooms, maintaining a high standard of tidiness and always, including newspapers, magazines and research collateral.
  •  Logging any fabric, cleaning or maintenance issues to the Facilities team using the FM helpdesk system.
  • Maintaining an efficient and effective booking system (Condeco) for catering and all hospitality meeting rooms and car parking spaces.
  • Proactive management of meeting rooms to ensure meetings run to schedule, if necessary, liaise with stakeholders to end or relocate meetings.
  • Preparing list of guests attending Partner’s Drinks (7-8 per annum), liaising with the catering team if when required.
  • Answering switchboard calls promptly in a polite and clear manner, following Knight Frank’s ‘Best Practice’ so that enquiries are dealt with efficiently and put through to the appropriate individual.
  • Making full and accurate notes of relevant telephone conversations and ensure that they are actioned or passed on to the appropriate colleague without delay.

 

You will be an experienced Front of House Assistant who has exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills.  You will be a confident individual who has the ability to communicate and deal with individuals  at all levels in a polite, professional, friendly and helpful manner, both face to face and on the telephone.  The successful candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, organised and pro-active with sound computing skills, excellent administration skills and the ability to adapt to a wide range of tasks. The individual will also need to have a “hands on” attitude, and possess the necessary skills, manner and experience to provide an effective support service to the department/office.
