Job Summary
The role of an Early Careers Advisor is to work closely within the team for the attraction, recruitment and development on the Early Careers Schemes within Knight Frank across the UK. The successful candidate would become the subject matter expert on talent attraction, engagement and on boarding while supporting on strategic project management and performing an ambassadorial role internally and externally. The responsibilities will include nurturing internal stakeholder relationships and leading a fair and equal process when we recruit, assess and on board people into our teams.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Selection
- Work with the Head of Early Careers to define the go to market strategy on a yearly basis.
- Engage with Knight Franks core universities to promote the firm and plan engagement.
- Work with the business balance groups to ensure our attraction efforts reach a broad group of students.
- Attend virtual/ in person events on behalf of the organisation, representing Knight Frank and ensuring we are at the forefront of students considering a career in the property sector.
- Responsible for organising representation from the business across all early careers events.
Assessment & Selection
- Responsible for the running and delivery of assessment across all programmes (graduates and interns).
- Lead on the yearly planning of all selection events. Ensuring a calendar of assessment dates is pulled together per cycle.
- Work with the co-ordinator to ensure assessors, rooms, collateral are all in place for assessment days.
- Organise and oversee the screening process each cycle, pulling in broader team members as required.
- Monitor the quality of the applications and raise to the Head of Early Careers any issues which arise.
- Work alongside the Head of Early Careers to review the annual assessment process and implement any changes required.
- Schedule annual assessment training, to be led by EC or Head of Early Careers.
Programme Delivery
- Responsible for the oversight of the yearly 4 week summer internship programme, 12 week programme, 12 week country programme and Resi academic internship.
- Engage with leads from all of these areas to understand hiring demands ahead of time.
- Work with the business to plan the students programme, pushing the boundaries on our offering and ability to upskill the students.
- Run the induction for these programmes and ensure successful onboarding.
- Work with hiring managers to collate extensive feedback post scheme and ascertain who is fast tracked to our graduate programme.
General Support
- Support wider team with appraisals as and when required.
- Support EC Manager and EC Lead with wider project work.
Skills & Experience required:
- Extensive experience within Early Careers, HR or Recruitment experience.
- Experience in managing multiple projects, to tight deadlines.
- Ability to influence and manage external and internal stakeholders up to senior management.
- Customer service, sales, recruitment or resourcing experience would be of interest.
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Experience of working collaboratively within teams and being a proactive contributor
