We have an opportunity for a content expert to join the marketing team as Content Marketing Manager. You will be the content lead for our flexible office space website and work closely with the sales team to drive traffic and lead flow, ultimately facilitating revenue generation.


You will work closely with key stakeholders to develop the strategy for the website’s content, have sound editorial judgement and a proven track record in a similar role or environment. You will have knowledge of, a history of working in, or a strong interest in the property industry, or similar B2B experience. An interest in the UK’s startup scene is a bonus.


You will also work with the wider Marcomms department to provide support on print & digital editorial products and marketing projects, such as our flagship publications. This is a varied role that will see you working with stakeholders, the research teams, the wider marketing department and PR.



  • Leading on the editorial strategy and implementation of the Flexible Office Solution’s content plan – writing about employee wellbeing, talent retention, the UK’s startup scene and of course, London’s amazing flexible offices
  • Writing is a big and critical part of this role, and you’ll continue to grow blog traffic through exciting content strategies & follow these through execution (writing, editing, uploading and promoting blogs through social media)
  • Working closely with our PPC Manager to collaborate on paid ads, write copy and source images where needed
  • Using the CMS (Sitecore) to upload your blog content, ensuring all content is readable, SEO-friendly and invites users to read your blogs from beginning to end
  • Creating and running snappy and engaging social media campaigns to promote your content, raise the sales team’s profile, and drive traffic to the site
  • Collating content for the monthly newsletter, writing monthly thematic intros, and working with the digital marketing team to ensure editions are created correctly and scheduled on time
  • Working closely with all members of the wider FOS team to ensure that there is an effective feedback loop between marketing activity and revenue
  • Interviewing clients, founders and CEOs of UK startups, and turning these interviews into engaging editorial interviews for the blog. Sourcing case studies during this process is a bonus, too
  • Collaborating with the commercial marketing team and PR to implement wider marketing initiatives that support the sales team
  • Working closely with the Platform Owner and the Head of Flexible Office Solutions, whilst contributing to decisions regarding the wider strategic objectives of the site, e.g. expansion to new geographies, and the operational implications for local FOS teams embracing the platform as a source of leads
  • Providing a weekly and monthly update on the site’s performance (primarily via Google Analytics & collaborating with the sales team), including spend reports, lead flow figures and revenue
  • Contributing to content and social strategies for commercial flagship publications (Active Capital, (Y)OUR SPACE, The London Report etc.), creating flatplans and social media strategies for launch and long-tail campaigns
  • Edit content from our research teams to ensure copy flows well, is digestible, but still conveys the credibility Knight Frank is famed for
  • Guiding junior content writers on SEO best-practices, and stepping in to help on ad-hoc commercial property projects where needed
  • Contribute to writing and editing tasks for other print and digital projects


Professional Skills and Experience

  • A degree in media, communications or journalism (or recognised equivalent) and three to five years’ experience in writing and editing engaging content for various audiences and in various media. A specific focus on optimised digital content is key.
  • Google Analytics
  • CMS-experienced
  • Knowledge of basic HTML
  • Clear understanding of SEO best practices with the ability to implement digital strategies


Personal skills

  • Excellent level of written English
  • A sharp eye for editorial detail such as grammar and editorial structure
  • Experience in all areas of digital content publishing, planning and editing
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills as well as stakeholder management experience
  • Being a team player: someone who is both proactive towards getting the job done and helping others do their own
