Based in our Global HQ at Baker Street, the Marketing and Communications & Digital (MCD) team provides support and assistance for both UK and International Knight Frank offices, in formulating and implementing the relevant strategies and marketing campaigns. Our role is to maximise omni-channel brand impressions that protects and enhances our firm’s reputation while generating high quality commercial and residential enquiries, globally.
‘D&P’ sits within the Marcomms department, as delivery engine for the multitude of campaigns running across all department service lines as well as brand & corporate.
Channel Planner
The key function of this role is to:
- Be responsible for the lifecycle of the campaign, ensuring both long and short-term strategy. Including launch impact and a long tail of activity to build campaign longevity.
- Listening to the business and the Market to deliver Channel and Channel Mix recommendations.
- To be the voice of the business in the creative process and the definition of success criteria. To be engaged with the business partner (BP) planning process to define campaign benchmarks, KPIs and optimum scheduling. Reaching out to the Channel owners within Marcomms to pull together the optimum channel mix in a robust campaign plan.
- To be a point of advice and guidance to the BPs on best channel mix and use, bringing industry expertise and highlighting potential benefits and ROI.
Responsibilities
- Take business requirements from the BP, to confirm the proposal and create a Tier One Campaign brief
- To interrogate the business objectives and proposed campaign investment, qualifying the long and short-term goals of the campaign to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Advise and agree ontarget audience and messaging hierarchy.
- Undertake detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
- Planning, briefing, reviewing and approving assets
- Establishing the success criteria and the KPI’s that will show these.
- Work in tandem with all functions within the CoE to deliver best practice creative channel mix and KPI reporting. Considering previous channel use with Channel Heads and using this to drive current solutions.
- Work with the Creative Services Manager to gather an accurate quote on the brief and then create a channel plan for the delivery team.
- Add all current campaign activity to Monday.com.
- Brief specific Campaign requirements to the Campaign Delivery Manager
- Measure against KPIs and objectives and deliver results to BPs and stakeholders
- Close the campaign and lead the Campaign ‘wash up’ with full reporting of the delivery process, success, or learnings.
Personal Skills / Experience
- Experience in delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns utilising the full marketing mix
- Being data literate and confident to report on a campaign’s results.
- To have previous experience in a Planner role, agency or ‘in house’
- An excellent working knowledge of the full range of marketing channels and how they are deployed to meet business objectives
- Confident communicator and strong presentation skills.
- Confident and articulate; able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Pro-active, hands-on and a strong sense of self-motivation.
- Excellent organisational skills, working efficiently alone and as a part of a wider team.
- Skilled at working under pressure.
- Strong sense of creativity and an eye for design and detail
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task while managing projects.
- Flexible, adaptable and a co-operative attitude; able to work as part of a team
