This is a new role for a highly motivated Business Support Coordinator. Responsible for coordinating the effective planning and delivery of all projects emanating from the Commercial Research team and any content required for any ad-hoc wider business projects.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the Research team keep on track with all projects, including our annual flagship reports, working closely and strengthening relationships with Marketing, Business Development, Internal and External Comms and the stakeholders across the wider business to ensure deadlines are met to ensure a successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
Project Support
- Coordination of ad-hoc requests, queries, research and projects for the business.
- Responsible for developing and coordinating the project tracker for the team. Allowing for efficient prioritisation, monitoring and delivery of work to a high standard whilst keeping appropriate stakeholders informed of progress.
- Responsible for presenting the tracker at regular work in progress meetings, flagging conflicts or challenges in a timely manner to ensure a stringent process on delivery deadlines.
- Working closely with Marketing, Events, Internal and External Comms, BD to:
- ensure effective planning to avoid any conflicts with other key events, projects or messaging across the UK business.
- ensure clarity around the production process and timelines of insight to improve quality of outputs and allowing a greater cross-pollination of ideas
- Ensuring visibility and clarity of our outputs and messaging:
- Coordinate the communication of outputs for distribution to the wider business. Providing support for all stakeholders and teams to understand the breadth of research materials available for their clients.
- Support the team to market and utilise our outputs to the best of our ability
- Understanding and optimising our utilisation; supporting the evolution of the commercial research team
- Develop a more detailed understanding of time use, to allow the team to remain efficient and targeted in their work.
- Event Support; assist the Operations Coordinator, where appropriate for specific client, team / department events, client presentations or any other client interactions
- KFX; contribution/idea generation
Stakeholder Support
- Responsibility for being the conduit between key research team members and stakeholders across the business. To be seen as the trusted ‘go to’ person for key information when team members are unavailable with clients or focusing on projects.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively providing assistance, where appropriate to Operations Coordinator, adding value to the overall efficiency of the Commercial Research department.
- Working collaboratively with the wider business support network, where appropriate to ensure best practices are shared, communication is continued and helping other teams when there are pressure points
