Knight Frank’s Private Office is a fully integrated residential and commercial real estate advisory team dealing with UHNW individuals. The overarching strategy is to build long term relationships with clients by offering world class real estate advice and service.

Based at our Global HQ at Baker Street, London, you will lead key account management and business development for wealth advisors, law firms and Family Office clients.

 

In the Business Development Manager role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and owning a business plan which focuses on increasing private client introductions; fee generation from private banks, law firms and wealth advisors; and identifying and engaging new single-family office representatives for the benefit of The Private Office
  • Identifying and reviewing all UK major existing banking relationships held with Knight Frank
  • Focusing on the topmost active banks interacting with Knight Frank, and devising a CRM and collaboration plan ton increase business into the Private Office team
  • Arranging meetings and pitching the Knight Frank Private Office Services
  • Organizing team ‘get to know you’ sessions
  • Creating proposals once potential partnerships are identified, including responding to client requests for any asset classes across the global network
  • Identifying opportunities to co-brand research / bespoke research projects
  • Planning on-going Wealth Report & Active Capital engagement opportunities through the year
  • Assisting senior colleagues in driving forward the Family Offices CRM plan, including identifying and engaging prospects for both The Family Office Forum and the Private Office
  • Incorporating existing asset ownership (both commercial and residential) deals, holdings, and family offices details into our records
  • Further developing our working relationships with Super Rich Advisors and MFO’s
  • Responsibility for updating Business Generation WIP and tracker
  • Organizing regular sector and individual client meetings
  • Identifying and promoting opportunities for cross-selling of Knight Frank service lines
  • Liaising with marketing and research on client deliverables such as seminars and events
  • Performing other tasks as set by the Head of the Private Office

 

To be successful in the Business Development Manager role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A graduate with 5 plus years’ experience in a similar professional services role (ideally with a focus on Real Estate, private banking, or wealth management)
  • A strong sense of self-motivation with a proactive, hands-on approach to work
  • Confident and articulate with excellent interpersonal and oral / written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
  • An active interest and understanding of the business
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Ability to work as part of a team
