Our Valuation & Advisory department based in our London office, are looking to recruit a Senior or Associate level Surveyor to be responsible for the valuation of commercial investment properties.  

Our Knight Frank Valuation experts provide a comprehensive range of single and portfolio valuations, market appraisals and consultancy services across both commercial and residential sectors.

With a wide skill-set spanning commercial and specialist sectors, residential and agricultural properties, we have the ability to draw upon our significant global network of Capital Markets, Leasing, Occupier and Research industry specialists, allowing us to add value for our clients, rather than merely reporting. Knight Frank provides extensive valuation services to financial institutions, lenders, private individuals, funds, property companies and the public sector.

In this role you will be responsible for the valuation of commercial properties and your duties will extend to support business generation and fee income. You will be responsible for client care and be expected to attend events to promote the department/firm amongst clients and professional organisations. You will be preparing reports and responding quickly to client enquiries, whilst at all times upholding the professional image of Knight Frank. You will be working to support various professional standards which will include acquiring and building a sound knowledge of property markets and legal case law. You will consistently be required to track property press and the national press with a view to building up a wide perspective of the property market and related activities. You will be adhering to deadlines and make good use of office records and procedures.

The role will require you to respect confidentiality of sensitive information and to abide by the principle of continuing professional development as required by the RICS. Within the role you will be liaising with members of other departments and gaining an understanding of individuals and their markets both for the purpose of obtaining information in support of valuations, whilst looking for opportunities for cross selling the business.

The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified. Your career experience should extend to broad UK property knowledge and fund valuations experience as well as being registered under the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme. The ideal candidate will have the capacity for accuracy, attention to detail and own an orderly approach to work and numeracy. You will have the ability to confidently communicate facts clearly in person and in writing - producing reports. You will need to be highly computer literate and competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and ideally experience with Argus Valuation and Developer.
