We’re looking for a talented and driven Associate to join our successful Student Property Capital Markets team. If you have 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in capital markets and a strong understanding of student property, this is your chance to work on an impressive portfolio of projects. You'll be handling sales, acquisitions, joint ventures, forward funding, and development consultancy for a wide range of clients and universities.

Our team has a robust pipeline of exciting mandates, including the Aramis Portfolio on behalf of receivers, joint venture funding opportunities in Manchester and Glasgow, a consented site sale in London, and an operational asset sale in Bristol. You'll be right in the action from day one, contributing to high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Manage sales and acquisition mandates end-to-end: create marketing materials, set up data rooms, launch properties to the market, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Provide development consultancy: assess site proposals, value-engineer opportunities, and drive deals to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Student Valuations, Research, Residential Development, KF Capital Advisory, and Debt.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and refer leads across the Knight Frank network.
Client Relationship Management
- Lead and maintain senior client relationships with a focus on regular communication and comprehensive reporting.
- Participate in and lead pitches to secure new business.
Professional Excellence
- Leverage your network of industry contacts, including landlords, tenants, and agents.
- Be a recognized and active agent with a strong reputation in leasing.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest professional standards.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- RICS qualified with 3-5 years PQE in relevant capital markets or student property roles.
- A track record of managing and closing transactions, with a client-facing background.
- Experience in client management, public speaking, and winning new business.
Personal Attributes
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and innovative approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and written.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and working across departments.
- Highly organized, methodical, and confident in leading projects and presentations.
Technical Proficiency
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems.
