Knight Frank is looking to hire an experienced Utilities Associate to join our rapidly growing Global Data Centre’s service line, based at our Baker Street HQ.

Role:
Knight Frank’s dedicated Data Centre service line has rapidly expanded over the past four years, now offering a full suite of services including MEP and Utility consultancy, established in August 2024. To support continued growth, we are seeking an Associate with experience managing utility applications—ideally across multiple geographies—who can independently lead client relationships and help secure and deliver projects globally. This is a unique opportunity to shape a fast-growing service line within a leading real estate consultancy, with potential travel across EMEA and APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Build client relationships and assist winning new business mandates.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the data centre industry.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the data centre industry.
- Attend conferences and other industry events to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments. (Travel required). Adhere to industry regulations and standards.
- Assist and work alongside our Head of Data Centre MEP and Utilities.
- Produce and manage utility applications from initial enquiry through to novation.
- Undertake and or manage the production of supporting calculations and drawings.
- Provide initial advice on capacity headroom and / or reinforcement requirements.
- Procure and manage route proving studies.
- Advise on the appointment of ICP’s and iDNO and manage tender process where required.
- Advise on and manage utility relocations where required to support developments.
Key Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5-years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience of managing data centre utility applications.
- Experienced in the management of complex, fast paced projects and acting as a subject matter expert.
- Linguistic skills preferred.
