We are looking for an exceptional marketer to join our UK Commercial Marketing team. In this role, you’ll help drive the commercial marketing strategy for the UK commercial business (across all business lines) using the full suite of external marketing channels. You will collaborate and build strong relationships within the wider MarComs team, with our Research and BD teams and across the business to deliver brilliant marketing advice, campaigns and projects, all grounded in data-informed decisions.

 

You’ll have an eye for detail and a drive to deliver at your best professionally, while enjoying being part of a demanding, but supportive and collaborative culture and team. 

 

This is a pivotal role in our commercial marketing team working very closely with, and reporting into, the Head of UK Commercial Marketing, with lots of opportunities to build your, and the team’s, profile at the most senior levels of the firm.

 

Critically, to be successful, you will be a strategic advisor able to navigate a complex matrix environment, quickly building trust and engagement, to help the firm in achieving its growth ambitions.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Build engagement with the key sub-division leads within the UK Commercial business to ensure strategy and plans are aligned and their teams take advantage of firmwide activity
  • Advise on the strategy and implementation of the firm’s major flagship campaigns, supporting the team to plan, deliver and measure exceptional campaigns 
  • Lead and implement structured business planning cycles to ensure our marketing focus is on key strategic priorities
  • Act as counsel to the team on the building and delivery of strategic plans to support opportunity and growth areas in the business 
  • Lead and oversee the commercial content 360 process to ensure insight and thought leadership is leveraged effectively across all relevant UK sales teams
  • Oversee a project to unlock value through identification of core marketing assets and templates, creating a library which our support teams can self-serve and setting out a roadmap for continuous improvement
  • Support the development, communication and use of client personas to influence the way we go to market and measure the impact of our marketing
  • Support the development of a client nurturing and engagement programme to build brand awareness, consideration and engagement with our commercial teams
  • Act as a number two for the Head of UK Commercial Marketing and deputise as required

 

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent level of industry and marketing experience
  • 7+ years in a marketing role within a professional services or B2B organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience of assessing, designing, implementing and measuring transformational B2B marketing programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build trust, listen actively and advise appropriately
  • Experience delivering across the full marketing mix

Desired:

  • CIM or other relevant professional marketing qualification
  • Experience of working in a partnership
  • ABM experience
