An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Residential Lettings Management team as an Assistant Property Manager on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until March 2025. At Knight Frank, we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of residential properties and gain exposure to all aspects of property management. We provide ongoing training and support to help you develop your skills and continue to advance your career.
In the Assistant Property Manager role you will be responsible for:
• Assisting the Property Managers in carrying out pre-tenancy works, property inspections, pro-active and re-active reports for the landlord and tenants.
• Carrying out pre-tenancy works for property portfolio
• Attending to any items marked on check in report
• Facilitating property visits twice a year on each property and action findings accordingly
• Arranging all routine and emergency maintenance as needed
• Paying all contractor and other invoices, ensuring funds are available
• Attending to any items marked on check out report and send dilapidation claim to landlord
• Sending agreed dilapidations in schedule to tenant; carry out negotiations between both landlord & tenant
• Liaising with TDS where applicable
• Printing off daily/weekly error and warning reports for funds, work orders & inspections
• Updating our system with float, landlord’s instructions and any additional clauses in the tenancy agreement
• Updating diaries for all property inspections
• Archiving files/invoices as needed
The ideal Assistant Property Manager will have:
• 1 year of administration experience
• Strong communication skills
• An interest of pursuing a career within Property Management
• Problem solving skills and a solutions focussed mindset
