Scope & Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a CCAB/IIA/CIMA qualified Assistant Audit Manager, with 3+ years experience of delivering risk-based audits, to support the day-to-day management of the audit function, and lead on delivering internal audits within our Business Services directorate.  

 

The role sits within the ‘Best Practice’ team which centrally co-ordinates audit and compliance activity across the firm. You will report into the Audit Manager and assist with managing compliance audit delivery, and will also lead on delivering an internal audit programme for our Business Services directorate.

 

In this newly created role, you will be comfortable in adapting to new ways of working and shaping the role to support the Best Practice team, overseen by the Best Practice Manager, which includes an Audit Manager, Compliance Officer, Compliance Advisor and two in-house Residential Service Line Auditors. You will also build and develop relationships with key audit stakeholders across the wider business.   

 

Responsibilities of the Assistant Audit Manager will include:

 

  • Supporting the management of compliance audit programmes across the Commercial and Residential service lines (both in the UK and internationally), reviewing audit outputs and monitoring budgets and performance, assisting with issues raised by Knight Frank’s in-house and consultant auditors, producing reports for Knight Frank’s governing bodies and engaging with key audit stakeholders (50%).

 

  • Assisting with the development of an internal audit plan for our Business Services directorate, and leading on end-to-end audit delivery, including scoping, planning, fieldwork, analysis, reporting and follow-up on risks and issues identified (50%).

 

The role will be based at Knight Frank’s 55 Baker Street Headquarters. Qualifications/Experience Required

 

  • CCAB/IIA/CIMA qualified (essential)
  • 3+ years experience of risk-based audits & audit management in an internal/external audit role (essential), ideally within a professional services environment (desirable)
  • Experience of delivering risk-based audits across support functions e.g. HR, Finance, Marketing, Procurement (essential)
  • Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and cooperative with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Producing written and verbal reports to a high standard, with excellent English grammar and spelling
  • Team player with a results-oriented approach
  • Dedicated with strong attention to detail and time management skills

 

Systems & IT competence

 

  • High degree of IT literacy (essential)
  • Microsoft Office (essential)
