Finance Executive

 

Job Overview:

The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the Finance Department in managing the day-to-day financial operations of Knight Frank Malaysia. This role will work closely with the Finance Team and other stakeholders to ensure that financial processes are in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Financial Reporting: The finance executive will assist in the preparation of financial reports, including financial statements, annual reports, and tax filings.
  • Supporting Budget Management: The finance executive will assist in creating and monitoring budgets for the organization and may help to ensure that all departments are staying within their allocated budgets.
  • Cash Management Support: The finance executive may assist in managing the company's cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable, and other financial tasks.
  • Assisting with Financial Planning and Analysis: The finance executive will support the senior finance team with financial modelling, data analysis, and providing recommendations for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Compliance Support: The finance executive will assist in ensuring that the organization is compliant with all relevant financial regulations and laws and supporting the auditing requirements.
  • Learning and Development: The finance executive will be encouraged to continue their education and training, with the opportunity to learn from senior finance professionals and participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
  • Ad-hoc / improvement project support: The finance executive will support ad-hoc duties or involve in improvement project as assigned by the Finance Manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also essential.
  • Candidates should also have a basic understanding of financial accounting and financial analysis principles 
  • Experience in handling full set account
  • Willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic are highly valued.
