Branch Head cum Registered Valuer (Johor Bahru)

Location: Suite 3A.01, Level 3A, Bangunan Pelangi, Jalan Biru, Taman Pelangi, 80400 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

Objective: To oversee the operations within the branch and its respective service lines including Valuation & Advisory, Research & Consultancy, Agency (Transaction) and Property Management

Responsibility:

• Leading the branch team – responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of valuers, agents, research analysts. Ensuring departmental and company protocols & procedures are being followed including goal setting & monitoring, reviewing, vetting and signing off valuation reports
• Conduct property valuations – able to carry out inspections & measurement of lands and buildings in accordance to standards, create quality detailed reports, ensuring that proper timelines are followed, well versed in various valuation methodologies & applying them accordingly to the type of properties being valued and with up-to-date knowledge of market data, trends & analysis
• Knowledgeable in local real estate laws, planning rules & guidelines and other statutory requirements as well as the relevant valuation standards such as the MVS (Malaysian Valuation Standards) and the AVG (Asset Valuation Guidelines).
• Business development & marketing – Formulating and executing business development & marketing activities or strategies.
• Carry out valuation exercises including large commercial portfolios such as shopping malls, office towers, hotels, hospitals, purpose-built industrial premises and development lands for various purposes.
• Conduct investment analysis and provide clients with the analytical support required to facilitate their acquisitions and disposals.

Requirements:

• Degree in Property / Real Estate. Registered Valuer.
• Knowledge in JB market
• Strong leadership skills and business development capabilities
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office
• Possess own transport & willing to travel
