We are happy to say that based on our long-term company growth we are looking for a new colleague - Commercial Real Estate Valuer. We seek a high-spirited personality interested in commercial property who will join our new valuation team. Scope

 

Knight Frank is the leading independent international property consultancy based in the UK offering professional and agency advice across the Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors.

 

The Business Rates team has expanded rapidly over recent years in response to an increased number of clients and properties under management.  Fee income and profitability has grown accordingly. 

 

Established in 1896, Knight Frank now comprises a global network of over 600 offices in 48 countries. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • To be proactive, enthusiastic and driven in providing the best Business Rates advice to our clients;
  • To be a team player working to ensure the Business Rates department meets its annual targets & objectives;
  • To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with our demanding Professional Standards;
  • To ensure your knowledge of Business Rates is kept up to date with a commitment to attend training courses and conferences on a periodic basis;
  • To generate instructions and fees to meet annual targets;
  • To maintain a prominent professional profile and always be alert to business opportunities.

 

Qualifications / Education required

 

  • MRICS and/or IRRV qualified;
  • Five years or more post qualification experience in Business Rates;
  • Drivers Licence.

 

Personal Skills Profile

 

  • The experience and ability to be alert to opportunities to generate new clients and fee income across the south Wales region;
  • The ability to promote the Partnership effectively and professionally;
  • The ability to prepare and implement Business Development strategies with the Regional Head and other members of the team;
  • An all round team player
  • Good IT skills and a knowledge of Riverlake, Analyse & Rates Data
  • Have a proven track record in Business Rates.
