Overview

 

The Middle East Research team is looking to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic, and hardworking Analyst to further its research capabilities, offering and goals. Knight Frank’s research teams are recognized globally for being thought leaders, covering all property sectors, and we wish to further entrench our position in the Middle East with this strategic new role. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a passion for data, but who can go beyond the numbers and succinctly communicate complex data sets and messages in a way that surprises and delights.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Interpret and convert complex data sets into engaging outputs.

  • Manipulation of complex data sets.

  • Create thought-provoking, data-driven insights

  • Work collaboratively with team members in the development and delivery of our annual Research programme, through a data-driven and/or geospatial lens.

  • Work with research manager to Improve existing datasets, with the aim of creating a more robust and reliable database.

  • Incorporate automation into current manual systems (e.g. automatic data downloads).

  • Work across different service lines to capture and analyze our in-house data sets, making the data accessible in an easy to digest format to business stakeholders.

  • Ensure highest quality standards in accordance with local and international standards with guidance from the research manager.

  • Keep abreast of key policies/legislation/trends/developments in real estate in Egypt, and regionally in order to provide an informed opinion.

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience within the Middle East real estate sector is advantageous.

  • Solid understanding and appreciation of Middle East macro-economics and drivers of real estate demand.

  • Thorough understanding of key real estate developments across Egypt.

  • Strong team player.

  • Ability to create extra research content/nuggets, both data-driven/quantitative and opinion-based/qualitative.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work flexible schedules to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.

  • Ability to understand and adapt to new technologies and software.

  • Software:

    • Microsoft Office programs, Power BI to a proficient level.

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Language skills: Bilingual Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
