The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the Egyptian commercial property market. As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for developing occupier platforms across Egypt, facilitating property transactions, fostering client relationships, and maximizing opportunities within Knight Frank’s service line offering.
Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of Knight Frank's business operations and develop strong business acumen within the commercial property sector.
- Secure instructions within agreed guidelines to meet and exceed business targets.
- Engage in networking and business development activities to generate new business.
- Conduct research and present findings in a professional and well-organized manner.
- Set clear business development goals and create strategies to achieve them.
- Refer potential business leads or fee-earning opportunities to other regional and global business divisions.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of tenant clients' requirements and objectives, and devise tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Source suitable properties through various channels, such as online listings, market research, and networking events, and present them professionally to clients.
- Manage the efficient administration of all business procedures.
- Manage your workload effectively while supporting the department head’s responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports.
- Draft and navigate heads of terms independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Advise on the commercial elements of lease contracts, with a sound understanding of the clauses that affect lease value.
- Develop and execute clear leasing strategies, including transaction timelines, and advise on potential repurposing of existing spaces or new office developments.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients, ensuring their requirements are met.
- Foster positive relationships with prospective and existing clients, maintaining confidentiality and trust to promote Knight Frank’s professional image.
- Maintain open communication with all stakeholders to ensure efficient and professional management of business activities.
- Perform any other tasks as required by the business.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior Leasing Executive or Consultant, with a proven track record in completing lease renewals, new lettings, and lease disposals, and an existing client network of office occupiers.
- Experience working with both tenants/occupiers and landlords.
- Strong understanding of the office market, current rental trends, and incentives.
- Solid understanding of the local upcoming office supply, existing vacancies, and tenants with active requirements.
- International experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
- Ability to use computers and information technology, including KF Internal Systems.
- Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
- MRICS qualification or currently on the APC pathway is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
